About

Jedi Knights is a loose collective of developers who enjoy each other’s company and pick up projects together for the fun of it. No mission statement, no roadmap, no pressure — the work is the reward, and so is the company of the people doing it.

Some of what shows up here started as a weekend curiosity. A few pieces might eventually become open-source projects worth using, or products worth paying for. Most will stay small, and that’s fine. The point is that the ideas got built.

The group is loosely maintained by Omar Crosby. Anyone with a good idea and the patience to see it through is welcome to bring a project in.

The name

Named for the discipline, not the swords. The Jedi archetype — patient, precise, calm under pressure — matches how the group likes to build. The theme stops at the vocabulary.
